Our medium-light demolition range of breakers have been since many years monoblock breakers, built in a single structure without tie rods. They are safer, more reliable and easier to service than traditional breakers. Two shells of vulcanized polyurethane insulate the monoblock structure from the metal case and reduce noise and vibrations.
The DMS-MDO medium-heavy range is monoblock up to 3000 kgs. All the advantages of monoblock, safety, reliability and easy servicing, can be found also in this range. In addition, in this range of large monoblocks, Socomec technicians have developed a new system to eliminate harmful blank firing protecting further the breaker and allowing an immediate start. We do not exclude that the MDO 4100 and MDO 6000 breakers will soon become monoblock, but for the moment they are still equipped with our innovative patented tie-rod clamping system, which gives them greater elasticity, strength and durability. These two models maintain the exclusivity of being able to remove piston and bushes without having to loosen the tie rods.
Innovative solution for demolition of medium and low hardness materials or even harder but fractioned. The Ripper excellently replaces the breaker, overcomes it in productivity, with a compression resistance of less than 150 psi. The Ripper is a silent (< 80 dB) and versatile equipment that can be used for underwater application without any modifications. The only wearable part of the Ripper is the tooth, easy to replace and therefore with much lower operating costs than any other equipment.
